Whether you are looking to get some fresh produce, plants, meat, (or the starts and planters to grow your own) this Whidbey Island Farmers Markets vendors and growers have you covered. And while you’re there, why not grab a bite to eat or take home some baked goods, jams, jellies or cheeses from one of their food vendors? And if that were not enough to entice you, consider browsing all of their artisan and craftsman booths; oogling at the one-of-a-kind jewelry, fountains, furniture, toys, fiber art, pottery, cards, photography, clothing, garden art, hand-knits, soap and body care products, sculpture, and paintings. Just take a look at their selection of local vendors. In addition to a host of full-time vendors, a number of others join us as drop-ins from time to time.
Coupeville Farmers Market
Every Saturday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Runs April thru October.
Market operates in the Coupeville Community Green Saturdays (next to the library) , April through October. As a farmers market it is their mission to bring a balance of fresh local produce, artisans, crafts, foods, bread and interesting vendors. This market offers a great variety of items, often including fresh off-the-boat salmon and white fish brought over from Port Townsend by bicycle and ferry. Yikes! That’s fresh!
Langley Second Street Market
Every Friday 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Runs May thru October.
Langley’s Second Street Market located in Langley, WA, on Whidbey Island, is a vibrant summer Friday afternoon venue with vendors who will be selling everything from produce to art. Bring the family, have dinner at one of Langley’s excellent restaurants, enjoy the buskers, listen to the music and shop the market!
Oak Harbor Farmers Market
Runs May through August.
Every Thursday 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Rain or shine!
Located in the lovely treed park next to the Greater Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center at SR 20 and NE 4th, you’ll find the freshest local produce, wonderful baked goods, chocolates, unique arts and crafts, and the best quick food in town. The Oak Harbor Farmers Market celebrates over 21 years of bringing the best homemade, handmade, and homegrown products to the community. The organization’s bylaws require everything sold at the market is made, grown, or produced by the vendor selling the item, so you know it’s truly local stuff!
South Whidbey Tilth Farmers Market
Runs May Thru October
Every Sunday 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
This Whidbey Island Farmers Market is a family friendly place on a lush meadow with picnic tables, live music, educational features and children’s activities. The produce vendors can accept SNAP coupons (formerly food stamps) as well as Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program coupons.
